Synopsis
A film piracy scandal that leads to the death of Akash, someone who ACP Pradyuman knew on a personal level. Akaash, an ex cop, was supposed to deliver a film print to some distributers in Delhi but goes missing mid way. It was hard for ACP to believe that it was Akash who was involved in the leak. If not, then who was it? Why was Akash killed in the process?

In season one, episode four hundred twenty three of C.I.D., titled Film Piracy Racket, a major film piracy scandal unfolds and results in the death of a man named Akash. Akash was an ex-cop whom ACP Pradyuman knew on a personal level. Prior to his death, Akash was supposed to deliver a film print to some distributors in Delhi, but he went missing midway through the journey. Following these events, it is difficult for ACP Pradyuman to believe that Akash could have been involved in the leak. This disbelief raises central questions for the investigation, namely determining who was actually responsible for the leak and why Akash was killed in the process.
