In the television episode titled The Case Of The Invisible Murderer - Part 1 from the first season of the series C.I.D., a man named Shailender hosts a party where he makes plans to draft a new will. The intention behind this new will is to deprive his family members of taking his money after his death. However, before Shailender is able to sign the document, he is killed. Following the homicide, the CID team steps in to investigate the crime. During their inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the death, the members of the CID team direct their suspicions toward the relatives who were present at the party. The investigation focuses on examining these family members, given their direct motive involving Shailender's money and the timing of the murder before the new will could be signed. Because the incident occurs during the gathering, the gathered relatives become the primary focus of the early stages of the case as the investigators attempt to unravel how the murder took place and who among the attendees is responsible for the killing.
