In the opening part of the case, a desperate man faces a terrifying situation when his son is kidnapped. The perpetrators demand a ransom of fifty lakh rupees for the safe return of the boy. Along with the heavy ransom demand, the kidnappers issue a strict warning that the child will be killed if the police are brought into the matter. Despite the grave threat to his son's life, the father defies the warning and contacts the C.I.D. team for help.

What begins as a standard kidnapping investigation soon takes an unexpected turn. Another officer, specifically an Assistant Commissioner of Police from the C.B.I., arrives and places himself on the case to assist with the investigation. This new development introduces an outside authority into the proceedings. The central question of the episode becomes whether C.I.D., working alongside this newly arrived C.B.I. Assistant Commissioner of Police, will successfully solve the case and manage to catch the kidnappers before it is too late for the captive boy.
