In this episode of C.I.D., titled The Two Wounds - Part 1, Rakesh finds his wife Suhasini dead inside their apartment. Suhasini worked as a lawyer and had been fighting legal cases against high profile individuals located in the city. Because of her professional work, she had previously received death threats from these figures. These clues direct the attention of the Crime Investigation Department team toward a builder named Chunnilal, who is involved in the case. The team then interrogates Chunnilal to determine whether he was responsible for getting her killed.
