In season one, episode one thousand thirty-four of C.I.D., titled ACP Aur Nakul Ka Raaz: Part 1, officers Daya and Abhijeet attempt to apprehend a suspected criminal named Nakul. At the time of the encounter, Nakul is on the verge of committing suicide. During the incident, ACP Pradyuman intervenes and saves Nakul's life.
