Synopsis
Saranjeet Singh IAS, who is currently incarcerated, calls CID in jail to investigate a case of an old man. CID wonder why he wants them to investigate an accident case. He tells them that he's sure that old man has been killed.

In season one, episode one thousand twenty of C.I.D., titled Singh Saab Ki Jung, Saranjeet Singh is an IAS officer currently serving time in jail. From his place of incarceration, Saranjeet places a call to the CID to request that they investigate the case of an old man.
Upon receiving the request, the members of the CID are left wondering why an incarcerated IAS officer would want them to look into what appears to be an accident case. During the communication, Saranjeet tells the team that he is completely sure that the old man in question has actually been killed, prompting the bureau to consider the suspicious nature of the incident despite its initial classification as an accident.
