Overview
Bosch is an American police procedural television series produced by Amazon Studios and Fabrik Entertainment that follows the investigations of a Los Angeles Police Department homicide detective. Developed for television by Eric Overmyer, the series is based on the best-selling novels written by Michael Connelly. Titus Welliver stars as the titular character, Harry Bosch, a tenacious, jazz-loving homicide detective and former Special Forces officer. The narrative of the first season centers on Bosch as he stands trial for the fatal shooting of a serial murder suspect. Simultaneously, he must confront his past while working on a cold case involving the remains of a missing boy. The detective also navigates departmental politics and develops a romantic interest in a daring recruit named Julia Brasher, played by Annie Wersching. The series, which features a cast including Jamie Hector, Amy Aquino, and Lance Reddick, depicts the detective as he pursues justice at all costs while investigating gruesome murders in the City of Angels.
