HO YI is heart-broken after she gets the truth from SO MAN. She tries to maintain her relationship with KA WING by means of a baby but KA WING rejects. HO YI is entirely despaired and commits suicide. Fortunately, she is saved by KA WING in time. Since YI MING has seen the murderer of SO JIN, her statement is given to the police. KIU CHING fears that secrets of the murder will be disclosed. He therefore sends someone to kill YI MING so as to destroy every evidence. HO NAM resists KIU CHING's killing YI MING. He questions KIU CHING about this. KIU CHING even admits he is related to SO JIN's death. This intensifies much more HO NAM's ill feelings towards KIU CHING. HO NAM decides to leave CHIA's family.
