Overview
Blindspot is an American mystery drama television series that originally premiered on NBC on September 21, 2015. Created by Martin Gero and produced by Berlanti Productions, Quinn's House, and Warner Bros. Television, the crime thriller ran for five seasons until its conclusion on July 23, 2020. The narrative begins when a woman known as Jane Doe is discovered naked in Times Square with no memory of her identity. Her body is covered in intricate, fresh tattoos, one of which displays the name of FBI agent Kurt Weller. Weller and his team, including Edgar Reade and Natasha Zapata, soon realize that each tattoo represents a crime they must solve. As the investigation progresses, the team works to uncover the truth regarding Jane Doe's past and the mysteries surrounding her condition. The series stars Jaimie Alexander as Jane Doe and Sullivan Stapleton as Kurt Weller, with additional cast members including Audrey Esparza and Rob Brown. The show is set in New York and explores an international plot revealed through the markings on Jane's body.
