It is a spin-off of Gilligan's previous series, Breaking Bad, and serves primarily as a prequel. The series follows Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny and hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside and often against Jimmy is "fixer" Mike Ehrmantraut. The series tracks Jimmy's transformation into the alter ego Saul Goodman. The show is set six years before Saul Goodman meets Walter White. It premiered in 2015 and ran until 2022.
