Best Week Ever is a weekly television program that aired on the United States cable and satellite network VH1. The series debuted in 2004 and focused on a format where comedians analyzed the previous week's developments in pop culture. This coverage included recent happenings in the entertainment industry as well as celebrity gossip. The program utilized the tagline, It is everything you love, everything you missed, and all the stuff you need to see again. After an initial run, the show was placed on hiatus during the summer of 2009. In January 2010, the network announced that the series had been cancelled. However, VH1 later announced the return of the program on August 3, 2012. Following this revival, new weekly episodes of the show began airing on January 18, 2013. The series functioned as a commentary on current events within the media landscape, providing viewers with a recap of significant moments from the preceding week through the perspectives of various comedians.
