Overview

Benidorm is a British sitcom created and written by Derren Litten. Produced by Tiger Aspect for ITV, the series debuted on 1 February 2007 and concluded on 2 May 2018 after ten series. The show is set at the Solana all-inclusive resort in Benidorm, Spain. The narrative follows the antics of an ensemble cast consisting of both regulars and first-time holidaymakers, as well as the hotel staff. The plot focuses on the guests as they navigate their journeys abroad and attempt to get value for their euros during their stay. Throughout its run, the program was critically acclaimed and received various awards and nominations, including recognition at the National Television Awards, the British Comedy Awards, and the BAFTAs. The series features actors such as Jake Canuso, Janine Duvitski, Tony Maudsley, and Elsie Kelly. The show depicts the experiences of these individuals over the course of one week each year at the resort.
