Synopsis
Episode 1 was the first of twenty episodes which covered Season 3.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.
Covering three of the four weight divisions, this episode kicked off the televised portion of the heavyweight, lightweight and superheavyweight championships. Fan favorite Nightmare returned to take on Slam Job before Shish-ka-bot 1.1 took on Phil Putman's Trilobot. Elsewhere, former champion Minion looked to make up for a disappointing Season 2.0 display against Ogre.
The episode premiered on July 10, 2001 and was immediately followed by Episode 2.
