Battle of the Psychics 2007

Overview

Battle of the Psychics, also known by the Russian title Bitva Extrasenov, is a television series that premiered in 2007 on the TNT network. The program is a Russian-language production based on the British format titled Psychic Challenge. Each season of the show begins with a group of eight to thirteen participants who are selected based on their purported superior psychic abilities. The central premise of the series involves the production attempting to expose these individuals as frauds through a series of tests. These challenges begin with relatively simple tasks, such as identifying the contents of a sealed box or describing what lies behind an impenetrable screen, and become progressively more difficult over time. In each episode, the participant judged to be the worst performer is eliminated from the competition. However, if the panel of judges is unable to reach a decision regarding the participants, all individuals are permitted to advance to the next round of the series.
