Overview
Batman: The Brave and the Bold is an animated television series featuring the character Batman. Created for DC Comics by writer Bill Finger and artist Bob Kane, the character debuted in May 1939. As the superhero protector of Gotham City, Batman is a vigilante who fights against evil and relies on his sharp mind, disciplined body, and extensive combat and detective training rather than metahuman abilities. In this series, the Caped Crusader teams up with various allies to uphold justice. His partners in this quest include Blue Beetle, Green Arrow, and Aquaman, among countless others. Batman operates from the Batcave located beneath Wayne Manor and is assisted by various allies known as the Batman Family. The character, originally introduced as a ruthless vigilante, evolved over time into a tempered hero. This series highlights his collaborative efforts with other figures from the DC universe as he continues his mission to strike fear into the hearts of criminals.
