Synopsis
The mountain plays host to one of the most famous, devastatingly dominant displays in global touring car history. As mechanical failures decimate the rival Holden Torana fleet, Moffat overcomes late-race brake failures to stage an iconic, side-by-side formation finish with teammate Colin Bond. Crossing the line completely ahead of the field, the crushing Ford Dealer Team 1-2 sweep etches itself forever into Australian motorsport folklore.
