Overview

Bastard!! is a television series set several hundred years after the destruction of modern civilization by an entity known as Anthrasax. The narrative follows a group of four lords who intend to set this ancient god free once again. To prevent the lords from succeeding in their plan, a former ally is released from a fifteen-year imprisonment. This individual is Dark Schneider, a powerful sorcerer who previously attempted to conquer the world. Following his release, Dark Schneider transitions into a defender who fights to save the world from the threat posed by the four lords and the potential return of Anthrasax. The series explores the conflict between these opposing forces as the fate of the post-apocalyptic world hangs in the balance. By utilizing his magical abilities, the sorcerer must confront his former associates to stop the revival of the god that originally leveled modern society. The story centers on his transformation from a would-be conqueror into a protector against the impending destruction orchestrated by his former allies.
