Overview
Baby Steps is an animated television series that premiered in 2014 and concluded in 2015. The story follows Eiichiro Maruo, a first-year honor student and dedicated bookworm who is primarily focused on his academic studies. Seeking to improve his physical condition, he decides to enroll in a tennis school. Although he begins as a novice, he discovers a fascination with the sport and utilizes his strong analytical and observational skills to compensate for his lack of physical strength. The second season of the series premiered on April 5, 2015, and shifts the setting to the Florida Tennis Academy. During this stage of the story, Eiichiro travels abroad for the first time in his life to compete against rivals who are aiming for the top of the world rankings. The series features voice performances from Asami Seto, Tetsuya Kakihara, Tomoaki Maeno, and Taiten Kusunoki.
