Synopsis
A desperate Aang visits Avatar Roku for help on his journey as the Fire Nation closes in on him. At their fortress, a masked intruder breaks Aang out.

The sixth episode of the first season, titled “Masks,” follows a desperate Aang as he seeks the counsel of Avatar Roku. With the Fire Nation tightening its pursuit, Aang’s journey has become increasingly perilous, prompting him to travel to Roku’s fortress in hopes of obtaining guidance that might aid him against the encroaching threat. The episode opens with Aang’s urgent arrival at the ancient stronghold, underscoring the immediacy of the danger that follows him. Within the walls of the fortress, Aang hopes to draw on Roku’s wisdom and experience, believing that the former Avatar’s insight could provide a crucial advantage in the ongoing conflict with the Fire Nation.
