Overview

Attack on Titan is a television series that depicts humanity's struggle for survival against giant humanoid creatures known as Titans. The story is set in a world where the last remnants of humankind live within a fortified city protected by enormous walls. These barriers were constructed a century ago to shield people from the Titans, who roam freely beyond the walls and pose a constant threat. Only members of the Scouting Legion regularly venture outside the safety of the city, though such missions often end in failure or death. The fragile peace within the city is eventually shattered, forcing its inhabitants to confront a new and terrifying reality. The series explores themes of survival, conflict, and the cost of freedom as characters face overwhelming odds and make difficult choices in their fight against the Titans.
