In the aftermath of his injuries, Zhang Hailou regained consciousness and shared a startling realization with Feng Huang. He explained that Zhang Haixia’s body was host to two completely separate minds. While they shared physical senses like sight, hearing, and touch, they remained entirely blind to each other's memories and thoughts. Trapped within his own mind like a prisoner, the true Haixia was powerless while the malicious entity Hailou named Heixia (the dark consciousness) controlled his actions.
