Catherine Southon and Paul Laidlaw squeeze into a very small classic car on their latest antiques-hunting adventure. These two treasure seekers are old chums who have battled it out before. Road Trip record holder Paul usually wins, of course, but maybe this time it will be differen.? Can Catherine's cold-painted peacock attract higher bids that his porcelain god of Mars?

On this first leg they start out deep in Sherwood Forest and manoeuvre towards a tense auction in Market Harborough, Leicestershire. En route they visit the Museum of the Horse and find out all about the 17th-century Siege of Newark.
