Charles Hanson and Catherine Southon go on an antiques adventure around Kent before heading to an auction in Buckinghamshire. Catherine ditches the classic car in favour of travelling by horse and cart. Charles takes a detour from antiques buying to learn about the centuries-old Kentish tradition of hop growing, and he meets a man on stilts. A pair of rare 18th-century shoe buckles gets Charles really excited, while Catherine finds a most unusual manicure set, and it is a nailbiting finish when the antiques go under the gavel.
