Overview
Antboy is a 2013 comedy, adventure, and family film that is the first Danish superhero movie and is based on the books by Kenneth Bøgh Andersen. The story follows a twelve-year-old named Pelle who accidentally gets bitten by an ant and develops unimaginable superpowers. With help from his friend, a comic book nerd named Wilhelm, Pelle creates a secret identity as the superhero Antboy. Slowly, things start to happen in the suburban community. When a scary and crazy supervillain named Flea enters the scene, Antboy must step up to the challenge. The film has a running time of one hour and seventeen minutes and a PG rating.
