When someone goes missing, we always think their family and the police do everything they can to find them. Even if a missing person is never found, a proper investigation usually brings up some theories or evidence of what could’ve happened, right?

I look at a lot of missing persons cases and this one has really stuck with me. Today we’re looking into the disappearance of Karlie Gusé, a 16-year-old girl who had her whole life ahead of her before she totally vanished.

I think about this case a lot for a few reasons. For one, this only happened in 2018 and in these times, it’s unusual for a case this recent to go unsolved. This case of Karlie’s disappearance has lies, secrets, and inadequate police work. Let’s get into it.
