The television series American Dad! is an animation and comedy series created by Seth MacFarlane and a group of similar creators. The show focuses on a man who will stop at nothing to protect his country and follows the mad fates of an American family living in Langley Falls. The series premiered on February 6, 2005, following Super Bowl XXXIX, with the rest of the first season airing starting May 1 of that same year.
