Overview

América is a 2005 television series featuring actors Deborah Secco, Murilo Benício, Camila Morgado, and Caco Ciocler. The narrative centers on the lives of two individuals from different social backgrounds who eventually meet due to unlikely circumstances. Sol is a dreamy young woman from the suburbs of Rio who seeks to emigrate to the United States, believing that the country offers a better life and greater opportunities. Tião is from a poor family that raised cattle in West São Paulo State.
