Overview

Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel is a 2009 film centered on the pop musical group consisting of Alvin, Simon, and Theodore. In this installment, the trio is placed under the supervision of Dave Seville's nephew, Toby, who is in his twenties. As the group attempts to navigate a return to school, they are assigned the goal of saving the school music program. To achieve this, the Chipmunks must compete in a battle of the bands to win a prize of 25,000 dollars. Their efforts are complicated by the arrival of The Chipettes, a trio of singing chipmunks named Brittany, Eleanor, and Jeanette.
