Overview

Aharen-san wa Hakarenai is a Japanese anime television series that premiered in 2022. The story centers on a quiet high school student named Reina Aharen and her classmate, Raidou. Aharen is characterized as socially awkward and struggles with the concept of personal boundaries, often standing either too close or too far from those around her. The narrative begins when Raidou picks up an eraser that Aharen drops, an act that leads Aharen to decide they are now best friends. As Raidou begins his first year of high school with the goal of making new friends, he finds himself bonded to the soft-spoken Aharen.
