A Patota is a Brazilian telenovela produced and broadcast by TV Globo. The series ran for 101 episodes between November 27, 1972, and March 29, 1973. It was the third six o'clock telenovela broadcast by the station, succeeding Bicho do Mato and preceding Helena.
The story highlights class differences and a childhood dream. It follows a group of children consisting of Juliana, Vicente, Pedro, and Tião, who live in a village where the poor and the rich coexist. Together, the children share a dream of traveling to Africa.
