Biography

Yurie Funato (船戸 ゆり絵, Funato Yurie, born September 18, 1994) is a Japanese voice actress from Saitama Prefecture, Japan. She is affiliated with Amuse.

Raised in a creative household—her mother being a professional narrator—she developed an early interest in voice acting, inspired by her family's love for anime and video games. During her school years, she practiced piano, flute, jazz dance, and calligraphy, and was an award-winning flautist in her school's brass band. In high school, she joined the cheerleading club and worked part-time at a sushi restaurant while attending voice acting workshops.

Despite initial insecurities about her high-pitched voice, she embraced it as her strength. After graduating, she studied at Watanabe Entertainment College and debuted as a voice actress in 2015 under Holy Peak, later joining the idol group Purely Monster. She left the group on April 30, 2018 due to a leg injury and joined Amuse Inc. in 2019.

Her talents include perfect pitch, playing instruments, dancing, and she’s even a certified sake sommelier. In 2023, she landed her first lead role as Umika Konohoshi in Stardust Telepath, followed by Hikari Hinata in Highspeed Étoile (2024).
