Yang Caiyu is a Chinese actress and singer. Born on September 28, 1992, in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. She made her debut by singing in the finale of "Young Hero Nezha" in 2003. Yang then attended high school in Northfield Mount Hermon in the United States. She was admitted to several US universities, including the University of Southern California and Boston University, but chose to study in Beijing Film Academy for Performance Studies. Yang has appeared in several films, including "Legendary: Tomb of the Dragon" in 2014, and "Love in the 1980s" in 2015, for which she was nominated at the 18th Shanghai International Film Festival.
