Wamiqa Gabbi is an Indian film actress who was born and brought up in Chandigarh. Her father, Govardhan Gabbi, is a Punjabi writer, and her mother, Raj Kumari, is an educationist. Aspiring to be an actress from a young age, she began her acting career at just eight years old when she appeared in a Punjabi television serial titled Saude Dillan De. Her background combines her family's literary and educational roots with her early entry into the television industry. Working as a film and television actress, she established her path in the entertainment field starting from her childhood appearance in the Punjabi serial and continuing into her career as an Indian film actress.
