Um Tae-goo is a South Korean actor born on November 9, 1983, in Seoul, South Korea. He graduated from the Film Department of Konkuk University in Seoul and made his acting debut in 2007. He has appeared as a supporting actor in numerous movies throughout his career and has won awards for his performances in the films The Age of Shadows, The Great Battle, and My Punch-Drunk Boxer. Additionally, he is the younger brother of film director and screenwriter Um Tae-hwa.
