Trond Fausa Aurvåg is a Norwegian actor and film director born on December 2, 1972, in Fetsund, Norway. After graduating from the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre in 2001, he began acting at Oslo Nye Teater the same year, performing in plays such as Amadeus, Manndomsprøven, and Tatt av kvinnen. As a film actor, he is best known for his leading roles in Andreaskorset in 2004, Den brysomme mannen in 2006, and Tatt av kvinnen in 2007. In 2006, he won two Amandas, the main Norwegian film award, for best actor in Den brysomme mannen and for directing the short film Alene menn sammen. He cohabits with his girlfriend, actress Lena Kristin Ellingsen, in Oslo.
