She gained recognition for her leading role in One Night in Oslo in 2014 and later starred as Kristina of Norway in the 2016 film The Last King. In 2018, she played the villain Skade in the third season of the Netflix series The Last Kingdom. Her more recent work includes portraying Marianne Ihlen in the 2024 biographical mini-series So Long, Marianne, which explores the life of Leonard Cohen's muse.
