Biography

Teresa Ann Savoy was a British actress who appeared in numerous Italian films. Born on 18 July 1955, she gained initial attention from the press while living in a hippie community in Sicily after leaving home at age 16. In October 1973, she appeared in the Italian adult magazine Playmen under the alias Terry. Her professional acting career began in 1974 when director Alberto Lattuada cast her as the intellectually disabled character Clotilde in the film Le faro da padre, also known as La bambina. She subsequently appeared in the 1975 film Private Vices, Public Pleasures, known in Italian as Vizi privati, pubbliche virtu. Savoy died on 9 January 2017. She was a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
