Tatiana Gabriele Maslany is a Canadian actress born on September 22, 1985, in Regina, Saskatchewan. She is widely recognized for her extensive work in television and film, having accumulated 86 known credits throughout her career. Maslany gained significant international acclaim for her performance in the science-fiction thriller series Orphan Black, a role that earned her a Primetime Emmy Award in 2016. With this achievement, she became the first Canadian to win an Emmy in a major dramatic acting category for a Canadian series. In addition to her Emmy, she received five Canadian Screen Awards between 2014 and 2018 for her work on the program.
