Tan Jianci, also known by the stage name 檀健次, is a Chinese male singer, dancer and actor born on 5 October 1990 in Beihai, Guangxi, China. He began dancing at thirteen and attended the affiliated secondary school of the Beijing Dance Academy, where he studied ballroom dance. In 2006 he placed first in both the Taoli Cup National Dance Competition (Latin) and the National Dance Sport Championships Professional (Latin), and earned third place at the World Grand Prix Finals in Shanghai (Latin). He later entered the Art Department of Beijing Sport University, majoring in dance. Jianci made his acting debut in the 2008 film Lost Indulgence and, in 2022, starred in the criminal‑detective drama Under The Skin. TMDB lists him with 43 acting credits.
