Credited prior to May 2014 as Tak Sakaguchi, he is also known by the names Toshirô Takuma Sakaguchi and Taku. He is best known for his lead role in Ryuhei Kitamura's cult film Versus. As a talented martial artist skilled in Bajiquan, Shaolin Kenpo, boxing, kickboxing, and mixed martial arts, Sakaguchi stars in films featuring copious fight scenes and performs all of his own stunts.
