Before becoming an actress, she worked as a software professional and pursued a modelling career, during which she appeared in various commercials and won the titles Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face and Safi Femina Miss Beautiful Skin in 2008. Following her modelling stint, she made her acting debut in the 2010 Telugu film Jhummandi Naadam, directed by Raghavendra Rao.
