Biography
Stewart Petersen is an American actor born on April 16, 1960, in Cokeville, Wyoming. He is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Petersen attended Rick's College in Rexburg, Idaho, and Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He won the state's wrestling championship for his weight division in high school. Petersen is known for his roles in several films, including Where the Red Fern Grows, Seven Alone, and Against a Crooked Sky, as well as The First Vision and Rivals. He left the acting profession in 1981 and returned to his hometown of Cokeville, where he still resides.
