Steven Conrad is an American screenwriter, film producer, and director. He was born on May 20, 1968, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Conrad is the brother of actor Chris Conrad. He attended Northwestern and sold his first screenplay, Wrestling Ernest Hemingway, at the age of 19. Conrad has written, directed, and edited several films, including The Promotion, which premiered at South by Southwest in March 2008. He has also produced and directed other films such as The Weather Man and The Pursuit of Happyness. Conrad has worked on 14 known credits and is known for his directing work.
