Srikanth is a veteran Indian actor. Born on March 19, 1945, in Erode, Tamil Nadu, India, he is known for his acting work. He has performed in around 200 Tamil films since his debut in 1965. Srikanth has played lead roles in approximately 50 films between 1965 and 1979, and has also appeared in supporting roles alongside notable actors. In the late 1970s to early 1990s, he played villainous roles opposite actors including Sivakumar, Rajinikanth, and Kamal Haasan. Additionally, he has acted in television series such as Mangai since 1996. Srikanth passed away on October 12, 2021, at the age of 76.
