Shree Krishna Shrestha was a Nepalese actor and producer born on 19 April 1967 in Kathmandu. He entered the Nepali film industry with his debut in the 1989 movie Bhumari, which achieved box‑office success. Over the course of his career he appeared in a range of popular titles, including Maiti, Aafno Manche, A Mero Hajur, Hami Tin Bhai, Kaha Bhetiyela and Kohinoor. In addition to acting, Shrestha took on production duties for several of his films, notably Kaha Bhetiyela and Kohinoor, both of which were reported to have broken records in Nepali cinema.

Widely recognized for his talents as both an actor and a dancer, Shrestha became one of the highest‑paid performers in the Nepali film market during his active years. His versatility and charisma contributed to a reputation for delivering successful and memorable performances across a variety of genres.
