Sha Baoliang, also known as Sha Bao Liang, is a Chinese singer and actor born on January 1, 1972, in Beijing, China. At the age of eight in 1980, he entered Beijing Art School to learn acrobatics. As a child star of the acrobatic troupe, he won the Gold Award of the French World Future Acrobatics Festival. In 1993, he began working as a backup dancer in bars. After a bar singer was absent, Sha sang Change All Mistakes, beginning his entry into the music scene and a singing career. He cooperated with the boy band The Moderns to compose and sing, and in 1995 he established the Desert Music Studio. In 2003, he came into prominence after singing the theme song Dark Fragrance for a television series.
