Biography
Senthamarai, born Kalyanaraman Senthamarai, was an Indian actor who worked predominantly in the Tamil film industry. He began his professional career in theatre during the 1950s, performing in stage plays alongside actors such as Sivaji Ganesan and M. G. Ramachandran. He transitioned to cinema in 1968, making his film debut in Thillana Mohanambal. Throughout his career, he became known for his performances in both character roles and villainous roles, the latter of which became a primary focus during the 1980s. Senthamarai appeared in numerous Tamil movies and maintained a presence in the industry for several decades until his passing.
