Biography
Scott Brady was an American film and television actor born Gerard Kenneth Tierney on September 13, 1924. He was the younger brother of actor Lawrence Tierney. During World War II, Brady served in the Navy and achieved success as a boxing champion. Following his discharge, he worked as a lumberjack before pursuing acting classes and beginning his film career. Brady became known for portraying tough-guy characters in films such as He Walked by Night, Canon City, and Johnny Guitar. His television credits include two appearances on The Virginian during the 1960s and a regular role on the 1970s series Police Story. Brady passed away on April 16, 1985.
