Biography

Sayaka Kanda is a Japanese actress born in Tokyo in 1986. She began her acting career in 2001, debuting as SAYAKA. Her early work includes the short film "Bean Cake" directed by David Greenspan, which won the Palme d'Or for short films at the 54th Cannes Film Festival. She has also appeared in the commercial "Ice no Mi," the theme song for the drama "ever since," and the stage play "INTO THE WOODS." In 2006, she changed her stage name from SAYAKA to her real name, Sayaka Kanda.
