Santiago Cabrera (born 5 May 1978) is a Chilean actor whose career has been based primarily in the United Kingdom and the United States. He was born in Caracas, Venezuela, where his father was serving as a Chilean diplomat, and he is the middle of three children. His upbringing included time in England, Romania, Toronto and Madrid. Cabrera is widely recognized for portraying Isaac Mendez in the NBC series Heroes, Lancelot in the BBC drama Merlin, and Aramis in the BBC series The Musketeers. He also starred as Darius Tanz in the CBS drama Salvation and appeared as Captain Cristóbal “Cris” Rios in the Paramount+ series Star Trek: Picard.
